GROUP TOUR
SARDINIA — SUN, SEA & HERITAGE
A 9-day group journey through Sardinia, built around your clients — Alghero, Castelsardo, Costa Smeralda, and the islands of the Mediterranean.
The journey
Nine days across Sardinia, from the Catalan-influenced west coast to the glamorous Costa Smeralda in the northeast. The journey opens in Alghero with a welcome dinner and a visit to the medieval old town, where Catalan culture still shapes the language and the food. A day trip to colorful Bosa and a stop at one of the island's beaches set the slow-travel rhythm. Castelsardo, a medieval village above the Gulf of Asinara, marks the transition to the Costa Smeralda area. A full day cruising the Maddalena Archipelago — Spargi, Budelli's Pink Beach, La Maddalena — turquoise waters and pristine islands. Three closing days designed for flexibility: Costa Smeralda boutiques and beaches, hidden coves for slow afternoons, or the artisan village of San Pantaleo. Sardinia at its most authentic — heritage, island sailing, and Mediterranean leisure, lived together as a group.
Highlights
- Welcome dinner in Alghero An opening dinner in Sardinia's most distinctive city — Catalan-influenced cuisine and a convivial start to the journey within the group.
- Catalan Alghero — medieval old town and traditional roast pork dinner Guided exploration of Alghero's Catalan heritage — towers, cobbled streets, the historic center. The evening features a traditional Sardinian roast pork dinner ('porceddu'), the island's most iconic dish.
- Bosa, the colorful river town Day trip to Bosa, a postcard-perfect town of pastel houses on the Temo River — winding lanes, the Malaspina Castle for sweeping coastal views, and time at one of the island's beaches on the way back.
- Neptune's Grotto sea cave excursion A boat trip to Neptune's Grotto, a majestic sea cave near Alghero — turquoise waters, dramatic limestone formations, and one of Sardinia's most photographed natural wonders.
- Castelsardo — medieval village above the sea A stop at Castelsardo, a clifftop medieval village above the Gulf of Asinara, with charming alleys leading up to the ancient castle. The bridge between Alghero and the Costa Smeralda.
- Maddalena Archipelago full-day cruise A full-day boat cruise through the Maddalena Archipelago — Spargi, Budelli's legendary Pink Beach, La Maddalena, with stops to swim in turquoise water. The Mediterranean at its most pristine.
- Three flexible days on the Costa Smeralda Three full days designed for the group's preferences — Porto Cervo boutiques and the island's most iconic beaches, quiet coves for slow afternoons, or the artisan village of San Pantaleo with its weekly market.
- Farewell dinner under the Sardinian sky A celebratory dinner on Day 8 to close the journey — a shared moment under the stars, connecting the group around the table on the final evening.
- Local tour leader and certified guides throughout An Italian tour leader, fluent in your language, accompanies the group across the entire journey. All cultural experiences are led by top-certified local guides.

Selling tips
- Sardinia — the Italian island American clients haven't booked yet Sicily has had its moment (White Lotus 2, Stanley Tucci), but Sardinia is still under-the-radar for most American travelers. Pristine beaches, Costa Smeralda, the Catalan Alghero connection — all premium signals that work with sophisticated clients. The angle for advisors who want to position themselves on a destination ahead of the curve, especially for returning Italy travelers tired of the standard mainland circuit.
- From 8 people — the format flexible enough for any group type This tour is designed for the advisor's group of 8 or more — friends, family reunions, anniversary trips, alumni groups, or wedding parties. Three flexible days on the Costa Smeralda allow customization to the group's profile. The angle for advisors with a defined group of clients looking for an Italian island experience together.
- Zero deposit at Ready-to-Sell — risk-free sales window for the advisor Once the advisor decides to move forward, M&G blocks hotels and locks the price with zero deposit required at that stage. The advisor sells with full clarity and no financial exposure until the Group Assessment phase. The angle for advisors who want to test the demand within their client base before committing financially.

Our process
Planning call
We don’t start with an email. We start with a call. You tell us about your client — who they are, what they’ve already done, what they dream of, what they’d never accept. We ask the right questions. Then we build a proposal designed to sell itself: hotels, inclusions, margin structure — all aligned before your client sees anything.
Ready to sell – Zero deposit
Once you decide to move forward, we block the hotels, lock the exchange rate, and define the selling price. Cancellation terms are set and fixed. No deposit required at this stage — unless the hotel requires it, or for short-notice departures. You start your sales campaign with full clarity and zero exposure.
Group Assessment
As sales progress, we review allotments and minimums together — adjusting where needed, releasing what isn’t working. We take every measure to minimise cancellation risk. At this stage, we define the non-refundable deposit needed to move forward: between 10% and 30%, depending on the hotel.
Final settlement
Balance requested 90 days before departure. Predictable, clean, no surprises.
