GROUP TOUR
HIKING ITALY — NATURE, TRAILS & DISCOVERY
A 10-day group journey through Italy's most scenic landscapes — Dolomites, Tuscany's Via Francigena, Cinque Terre, the ancient Appian Way, and the Amalfi Coast's Path of the Gods.
The journey
Ten days hiking through Italy's most iconic landscapes, with a combination of trail experiences that no other Italy tour delivers. The journey opens in Verona and a full day in the Brenta Dolomites — alpine trails near Lake Tovel and the waterfalls of Vallesinella, in UNESCO-protected mountain landscapes. Florence brings Renaissance city culture and a hike along the ancient Via Francigena from medieval Monteriggioni. The coastal chapter unfolds in Cinque Terre with the trail between Vernazza and Corniglia — colorful cliffside villages, terraced vineyards, and Mediterranean views. Rome adds an unusual hiking experience: the ancient Appian Way on foot, walking among Roman ruins, aqueducts, and countryside. The journey closes on the Amalfi Coast with the legendary Path of the Gods, a 3-4 hour trek high above the sea, descending into Postcard-perfect Positano. Italy lived through its trails — alpine, pilgrimage, coastal, ancient, and cinematic, all in one journey.

Selling tips
- Five iconic Italian trails in one tour — depth no other Italy hiking tour delivers Brenta Dolomites (alpine), Via Francigena (pilgrimage), Cinque Terre (coastal), Appian Way (ancient Roman), Path of the Gods (Amalfi cinematic) — five completely different trail experiences in a single 10-day itinerary. Most active Italy tours focus on one region. The angle for clients seeking variety, geography, and depth — not just the predictable hiking spots.
- Active travel as the rising trend in premium Italy tourism Wellness, slow travel, and active outdoor experiences are the fastest-growing segments of premium Italy travel — fueled by post-pandemic preference for nature, the popularity of the Camino-style pilgrimage, and the rise of hiking culture among American travelers. Most Italy tour operators don't offer dedicated active itineraries. The angle for advisors looking to differentiate with a fitness-aware, nature-first product.
- Hiking as a group bonding format — perfect for active social groups Designed for groups of 8 or more — friends, hiking clubs, fitness communities, alumni outdoor groups, or active multi-gen families. Trails are naturally social — shared effort, shared views, shared meals after. The angle for advisors with a defined active client base looking for an Italian outdoor experience together.

Our process
Planning call
We don’t start with an email. We start with a call. You tell us about your client — who they are, what they’ve already done, what they dream of, what they’d never accept. We ask the right questions. Then we build a proposal designed to sell itself: hotels, inclusions, margin structure — all aligned before your client sees anything.
Ready to sell – Zero deposit
Once you decide to move forward, we block the hotels, lock the exchange rate, and define the selling price. Cancellation terms are set and fixed. No deposit required at this stage — unless the hotel requires it, or for short-notice departures. You start your sales campaign with full clarity and zero exposure.
Group Assessment
As sales progress, we review allotments and minimums together — adjusting where needed, releasing what isn’t working. We take every measure to minimise cancellation risk. At this stage, we define the non-refundable deposit needed to move forward: between 10% and 30%, depending on the hotel.
Final settlement
Balance requested 90 days before departure. Predictable, clean, no surprises.
