ITINERARY

DAY 1 - Verona arrival and Amarone tasting
You arrive in Verona and spend the afternoon exploring its beautifully preserved historic center, walking around Piazza delle Erbe, the Arena and Juliet’s balcony. Later you enjoy a refined vertical Amarone tasting, led by a expert who explains how ageing and the appassimento grape-drying method shape this prestigious Nebbiolo wine.
DAY 2 - Valpolicella wine tour
In the morning you head into the Valpolicella Classica region, visiting two centuries old, family run wineries. You taste Amarone, Ripasso and Recioto, and learn about their traditional production techniques. You return to Verona in the afternoon to stroll further and immerse yourself in the local atmosphere.
DAY 3 - Travel to Turin and city exploration
You travel by train to Turin, then explore the elegant city center on foot, passing Piazza Castello, Mole Antonelliana and some historic cafés.
DAY 4 - Barolo and truffle culture discovery
You depart Turin for the Langhe hills, visiting a Barolo winery to tour the cellar and taste premium Nebbiolo wines. You also visit nearby village to discover the truffle culture—its history, seasonal traditions, and local products—without an actual hunting session.
DAY 5 - Transfer to Siena and historic sightseeing
You travel to Tuscany and settle into Siena or a nearby agriturismo. Then you spend the afternoon wandering through the medieval streets of Siena, visiting Piazza del Campo and the Duomo while soaking in the Tuscan ambiance.
DAY 6 - Brunello and Vino Nobile tasting
You undertake a full day tour to Montalcino and Montepulciano, visiting renowned wineries to taste Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. You enjoy picturesque vineyard landscapes and learn about the terroir and aging traditions that define these iconic Tuscan wines.
DAY 7 - Truffle hunt in Tuscany Countryside
You venture into the rolling clay hills of the Crete Senesi or the historic grounds of San Miniato for a morning truffle hunt guided by an expert and accompanied by a truffle dog. After learning about truffle ecology, you enjoy a final lunch featuring truffle-based products in a serene countryside setting.
DAY 8 - ARRIVEDERCI, ITALIA!
Transfer to Florence airport for your flight home. End of services and final goodbyes to Italy’s vineyards, hills, and timeless flavors. Depart with full hearts and unforgettable memories of Amarone, Barolo, Brunello, and the thrill of a Tuscan truffle hunt. Until next time – arrivederci!
