INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA FOR RECONTACT REQUEST

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the Data Controller provides below the information regarding the processing of personal data supplied by you by filling in the form provided for the request for recontact to receive commercial information.

The updated list of external managers appointed by the Data Controller pursuant to article 28 of the aforementioned Legislative Decree 101/2018 and of the persons authorized to process it can be consulted at the headquarters of the Company or by requesting it from the Privacy Office.

Purpose of the processing and legal basis of the processing

  1. Necessary para-contractual purposes

Your personal data will be processed, without your further consent, to follow up on the recontact request for the description of the commercial proposal and, possibly, to proceed with the contractualization of what you have requested in the message field, as expressly authorized by you by filling in the form and accepting the data processing with the appropriate flag.

These data will also be processed with electronic tools, recorded in special databases, and used strictly and exclusively to follow up on the recontact request.

  1. Commercial and marketing purposes – consent

Your personal data may also be processed, subject to the release of your express consent provided in the appropriate field of the form, for market research, economic and statistical analyses, as well as the marketing of the Data Controller’s services by sending advertising/informative/promotional material.

These activities may concern the Controller’s products and services and may also be performed through an automated call system, with or without the intervention of an operator, e-mail and SMS (Short Message Service), and/or multimedia messages. Consent to the processing of data for the purposes indicated above is optional and any lack of consent does not affect recontact by the Company.

Consent to data processing and communication to the subjects indicated below for the aforementioned purposes is optional and can be revoked by writing to:

privacy@meetandgreetitaly.it. The revocation will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the same.

Recipients of personal data

For the pursuit of the purposes indicated above, the Data Controller may communicate your personal data to third parties, if necessary contractually appointed as data processors, such as, for example, those belonging to the following subjects or categories of subjects:

  • law enforcement agencies, other public administrations, for the fulfillment of obligations established by law, regulations, or community legislation. In such cases, based on the applicable legislation on data protection, the obligation to acquire the prior consent of the interested party to such communications is excluded;
  • companies specialized in the management of commercial information or advertising promotion;
  • other companies contractually linked to the Data Controller which carry out, by way of example, consultancy activities, support for the provision of services, etc.

The Data Controller guarantees the utmost care so that the communication of your personal data to the aforementioned recipients concerns only the data necessary for the achievement of the specific purposes for which they are intended. Your personal data is stored in the Data Controller’s databases and will only be processed by authorized personnel. The latter will be provided with specific instructions on the methods and purposes of the processing. Furthermore, such data will not be disclosed to third parties, except as provided above and, in any case, within the limits indicated therein. Finally, we remind you that your personal data will not be disclosed, except in the cases described above and/or provided for by law.

Transfer of personal data outside the European Community

As a rule, your personal data will not be subject to international transfer outside the European Community. In the event that your personal data should be subject to international transfer outside the European territory, the Data Controller will adopt all suitable and necessary contractual measures to guarantee an adequate level of protection of your personal data in accordance with what is indicated inside this Privacy Policy, including, among others, the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Data retention period

The data will be kept for a period of time not exceeding that necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed in accordance with the provisions of the law.

In particular, your personal data will not be processed for marketing purposes after two years from the date of issue of the consent, unless the revocation occurs earlier. At the end of this period, they will be deleted or otherwise irreversibly de-identified, unless further retention of some or all of the data is required by law.

Rights of the interested parties

As an interested party, you have the following rights over the personal data collected and processed by the Data Controller for the purposes indicated above: (i) the right of access, in particular by requesting, at any time, confirmation of the existence of your personal data at the archives of the Company and the provision of such information in a clear and intelligible way, as well as the right to know the origin, logic and purpose of the processing with express and specific indication of the persons in charge and responsible for the processing and of the third parties to whom your data may be disclosed; (ii) the right to obtain the updating and correction of data (except for evaluation data), the cancellation of superfluous data or transformation into anonymous form, as well as the blocking of processing and definitive cancellation in case of unlawful processing; and (iii) if the conditions are met, the limitation of the treatment and the portability of the data. The law also allows you to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, should you identify a violation of your rights pursuant to the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data.
